On January 5, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) officially confirmed receiving bids from these prominent figures.
Now according to a report from Zoom, KC Bokadia, one of the seasoned filmmakers in the industry, has unveiled the latest developments surrounding this high-profile bid.Bokadia affirmed his participation in the bidding process. Expressing enthusiasm he said it is an interesting and challenging bid, so let’s see who wins.

The International Film City project, spanning 230 acres in Sector 21 of the Yamuna Authority region, has garnered considerable attention from the film industry’s elite. YEIDA disclosed that four bids (by Akshay Kumar and Dinesh Vijan jointly, Boney Kapoor, Bhushan Kumar, and KC Bokadia) have been submitted and are currently undergoing technical examination, with the subsequent opening of financial bids per regulations.
According to an official release from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), the deadline for bid submissions for this ambitious project was set at 3:00 PM on January 5. The technical bids were meticulously reviewed in the conference room of the Authority office.

The genesis of UP’s Film City project can be traced back to September 30, 2023, when the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority initiated the bidding process for the establishment of the International Film City. The colossal project, spread across 1000 acres in Sector 21 of the Authority, is a monumental undertaking. The first phase is dedicated to developing the Film City on 230 acres, showcasing the government’s commitment to bolstering the entertainment industry.
