It’s a historic moment as Lord Ram returns to his abode Ayodhya after years as the Ram Lalla ‘Pran Pratishtha’ will take place today. On this occasion of Ram Mandir consecration, many celebs will be present alongside PM Narendra Modi and many dharm gurus. Guests who’ve jetted off to Ayodhya for the occasion include Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Jackie Shroff among others.Akshay Kumar had also been invited for this ceremony, but ETimes reported earlier today that the actor may not be able to attend it as he’s in Jordan shooting for ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (BMCM)’ with Tiger Shroff.
A source told ETimes, “Akshay Kumar has told the organiser of the function about his prior commitment with the producers of the film and as it is a combination shoot may not be able to attend the event.” Now Akshay has dropped a video from the set of BMCM with Tiger as they chanted ‘Jai Shree Ram‘ and congratulated all the Ram ‘bhakts’ on this historic day. Akshay says here, “Aaj ka din puri duniya mein base Ram Bhakton ke liye bohot bada din hai. Kayin 100 saalon ki prateeksha ke baad yeh din aaya hai ke Ram Lalla apne ghar Ayodhya mein apne bhavya mandir mein aa rahe hai. (It’s a big day for all the Ram Bhakts around the world as we’ve been able to witness this day after a wait of more than hundred years when Shree Ram is returning to his home in Ayodhya).”

Tiger added and said that we’ve all been hearing about it for years but to be able to witness this today and live this is a big occasion. He added that we are all waiting for that moment when we can light diyas and celebrate Shree Ram’s utsav.” The duo further congratulated everyone for this joyous and auspicious occasion.
‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
