Animal Full Movie Collection: Animal crosses the Rs 550 crore mark at the box office |

There seems to be no stopping for Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, which has now gone to become the second highest grossing film of 2023, beating Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. Animal, already in its 6th week, is seeing a sudden rise in audience interest leading to more shows being added to it, despite newer releases like Dunki and Salaar; Part 1- Ceasefire still being around.Animal in its 6th weekend added nearly Rs 2.5 crore into its kitty, taking the total of the film to over Rs 550 crore . The only film added to this list is Jawan with Rs 643 crore.

The makers of Animal recently held a success party to celebrate the film. Talking at the event, Ranbir Kapoor said , “I want to thank all of you for being here today to celebrate ‘Animal’. It is a film that a section of people had an issue with but I feel the kind of love, success and the numbers (it has received) proves that nothing goes beyond the love for a movie. Nothing goes beyond movies.”
A lot of things were stacked against Animal, be it the A certificate or its over three hour long runtime, and the clash with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur, but it survived everything. It still has a few days left, as Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupati’s Merry Christmas releases on 12th January.
Animal is sailing not only in India, but even across the globe, especially in North America, where it has collected over US $ 14.84 million in its run, continuing in its position of being the 5th highest grossing Indian film in North America after RRR, Pathaan, Jawan and Baahubali 2- The Conclusion.
