Bobby Deol may have had a mere 15-minute role in the 3-hour-20-minute Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial Animal, but his charismatic role of Abrar has left a lasting impression on his fans. Though his character dies in the film, Bobby recently discussed about the possibilities of Abrar being resurrected in the sequel, Animal Park or starring in a spin-off.
Discussing fan theories about his mute character in Animal, Bobby told News 18 that if Ranbir‘s character Ranvijay Balbir Singh can come back after getting his heart replaced, his character Abrar can come back as well.
“People have already made up that he has twins in the end, and they are saying that you can have twins only when you have a twin. So they think I might have a twin. Or maybe they just bring me back. Ranbir’s heart was replaced so even if my throat is cut, maybe I’ll still come back. So all these kinds of theories are coming out,” Bobby said.

Talking about the possibility of a spin-off, Bobby said that he has not discussed this idea with Sandeep but he would love to work with the director again and again. “I love that man. He’s an amazing guy and an awesome director,” he added.

In the film, Ranbir’s character cuts the throat of Bobby’s character Abrar towards the end. In the post-credits scene, Bobby’s brother gets a plastic surgery to look exactly like Ranbir and take revenge against his family.

When asked about Animal Park, Bobby said that it will take a few years for it to be constructed and he has no idea which animals are going to be in the sequel.
