Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone‘s chemistry has set the internet ablaze ever since the song ‘Ishq Jaisa Kuch‘ from ‘Fighter‘ was unveiled. This is the first time that the duo is sharing screen space and fans cannot wait to see more of them when the film releases. Meanwhile, as the cast along with director Siddharth Anand interacted with the media and spoke about the experience on the film.
Anand was asked how he makes Hrithik and DP look like this on-screen in a beach song. When asked if it was difficult to convince them, the director said, “Not at all,” further adding, “Honestly, it stems from confidence that they have. They have confidence of themselves, of their appearance, about how good-looking they are. Just look at them. Inko kuch bolne ki zaroorat nhi padti hai (They don’t have to say anything.)”
Siddharth further said that both Hrithik and Deepika are so gorgeous that it doesn’t take any efforts to make them look so good on screen and yet, both of them have worked very hard to achieve those bodies! He said, “Honestly, I don’t need to do anything. Just roll it at 48 frames and make them walk and put good music.” Interrupting him, Hrithik said, “You can trust Sid,” to which Siddharth replied that they have worked very hard. Jokes apart, it’s not easy to look like this. I think they put in a lot of effort, and the one word that I actually use is sacrifice. There’s a lot of sacrifice that goes into looking like this, and they are relentless. They know what to wear to the beach or while dancing. Imagine us dancing shirtless. Every part is going to be jumping. But, they are like rock, they are sculpted, and it’s a lot of effort that goes into it”
Further, Deepika and Hrithik added that they trust Siddharth completely that he will present them in the best way possible. Hence, it gets easy to do so when one trusts the director. Deepika expressed, “You trust the director. You trust his aesthetic sense; you trust it will be presented in the right way and that’s what makes us do it.”
‘Fighter’ is set to release on January 25 and also stars Anil Kapoor in a pivotal role.
