The Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Fighter‘ is finally out in theatres and is receiving positive reviews from critics, fans, and moviegoers alike. While Deepika is enjoying the success of her latest film, rumours are rife that she has bagged a Hollywood project—the third season of the superhit show ‘White Lotus’.
However, the ‘Fighter’ actress has not yet confirmed these rumours, but her reaction to Siddharth Anand teasing her about the project has caught everyone’s attention.
During a press conference for ‘Fighter’, the actress was asked about her next projects. Siddharth quipped, “Lotus 3… Where’s the space now? Lotus 3 is coming.”
Reacting to it, Deepika said, ‘If Siddharth Anand makes Fighter 2…” The filmmaker replied, “Kaise karenge? Abhi Fighter 2 band kara di aapne, Lotus 3 kar rahi hain, pata nahi kya kya kar rahin hain… White Lotus 3.”
Deepika then continued to laugh as she looked directly at Siddharth. The filmmaker said, “Kab time milega, Deepu?”
Meanwhile, reports started circulating after Deepika’s mother-in-law, Anju Bhavnani, apparently began liking social media posts that hinted at Deepika’s participation in ‘The White Lotus Season 3‘.
On the work front, Deepika will next be seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. The film will be headlined by Prabhas and will feature Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in key roles.
