After solemnising their relationship via a registered marriage on January 3, Aamir Khan‘s daughter Ira Khan tied the knot with Nupur Shikhare in Udaipur on January 10. Several videos and pictures from their dreamy Christian ceremony are going viral on the internet.
While Nupur is the official fitness trainer of Ira and Aamir, many might not know that he has also been the fitness coach for Miss India contestants, including Urvashi Rautela, appointed by former Miss World Sushmita Sen. He took on the responsibility of honing the skills and physical fitness of the participants, preparing them for the grand stage of Miss Universe.
Recently, Urvashi revealed that Nupur was quite strict when it came to fitness. His training sessions were intense, which involved rigorous running sessions and the inclusion of Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and music. She underwent preparation for the Miss Universe pageant in 2012.

Nupur and Ira met during the COVID-19 lockdown when Nupur was training Aamir and Ira was living with her father. He proposed to Ira in 2022. The duo had an engagement party in November last year. The couple held their sangeet on Tuesday night. The bride’s father caught the attention by dedicating a special song to his daughter at the function.

The newlyweds will now head to Mumbai and host a reception at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre on January 13. The who’s who of Bollywood including superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are expected to attend the reception.
