And then came Sam Bahadur, a film based on India’s Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw- a film in which he poured his heart, blood and sweet and it has grossed more than Rs 80 crore at the box office, despite facing a tough competition from Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal.And now he’s sharing the big screen with Superstar Shah Rukh Khan inRajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. And going by the twitter reviews, he’s being hailed as the scene stealer of the film.

It was reported few days back that Rajkumar Hirani was hesitant to offer the role to Vicky as it was a small role, he mentioned this to Vicky’s father Sham Kaushal. Same day Sham Kaushal had a word with Vicky and Vicky called up Hirani to say that he will do the role, no matter how small and that decision is now paying off for the actor.
