Former child actor Evan Ellingson, who starred in movies like ‘CSI: Miami’ and ‘My Sister’s Keeper,’ has tragically died at the age of 35. While no cause of death has been given till now, the former actor had been battling addiction for years, but had turned sober and was doing quite well, according to his father, Michael Ellingson. He was discovered lifeless in Fontana, California, as reported by HuffPost.

Evan Ellingson grew up in La Verne, a municipality located in Los Angeles County , California with his three brothers.

He was very sporty, surfing, snowboarding and skateboarding.
In 2004, Evan was cast as Kyle Savage in the television series Complete Savage produced by Mel Gibson. Unfortunately, the series ended after one season.
In 2007, E. Ellingson obtained a recurring role in the sixth season of the TV series 24 Hours . He plays the role of Jack Bauer’s nephew. At the end of 2007, E. Ellingson obtained a role in CSI: Miami (CSI: Miami), broadcast on CBS. He played the role of Kyle Harmon, the son of Lieutenant Horatio Caine (played by David Caruso ). He appeared episodically for this role.

He has a daughter Brooklynn Ellingson, born in 2008. The same year his brother Austin Ellingson died of an overdose.

In 2009, he was seen in the film My sister’s keeper where he played the role of Jesse Fitzgerald, the son of Sara Fitzgerald played by Cameron Diaz .
