The upcoming Telugu film Guntur Kaaram is an action drama. Starring Mahesh Babu in the lead role, the film is directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The movie has huge anticipation as it is the new film of Mahesh Babu after his film ‘Sarkaaru Vaari Patta‘ in 2022. The fans of the actor are eager to see him on the big screens.
The movie cast includes Mahesh Babu, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sreeleela, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, and Brahmanandam.The movie’s music is composed by S. Thaman. The film was first officially announced in May 2021 under the pretext of ‘SSMB28’, and it was later titled ‘Guntur Kaaram’ only in May 2023. The shooting for the movie began in September 2022, and it was wrapped only in December 2023.
The film’s technical crew consists of cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa and editor Naveen Nooli. The story plot of the film revolves around a man who is charismatic and tries to take on the underground political factions. Mahesh Babu plays a fearless young man, and the movie is filled with impactful fight sequences.
The movie’s first glimpse was launched on May 31, 2023, and the trailer was just launched last week on January 7. The makers had a pre-release event in Guntur on January 9, and it received a lot of response from fans. The movie, apart from working well in India in pre-sales, has managed to make a mark in the US as well. The Mahesh Babu starrer soars past $1 million in the US with presales ahead of its premiere there.
