Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan tied the knot with Nupur Shikhare in a registered marriage on January 3 at Taj Lands End in Mumbai. One of the highlights of the event was the groom’s attire, who entered the venue in a black vest and white shorts with his four other friends. And instead of having a traditional baarat, he jogged for about 6 to 8 kms to the wedding venue.

The fitness enthusiast lived up to his reputation and entered the venue in shorts and vest after dancing with the dhol party at the entrance.People were expecting him to take a shower and dress up before entering the wedding venue but he stayed put. A video of him being hugged by Aamir Khan as he entered the venue has already gone viral.
And now in another video that is gaining attention on the internet is the first reaction that Ira had after their marriage. She stated that her husband Nupur, ‘Is going to go shower!!!’
The couple had a register marriage on Wednesday and the formalities were completed with Nupur in his active wear while Ira was dressed in wedding finery in green and beige color, netizens felt that her look was inspired by Jasmine of Aladdin. Nupur changed into his wedding attire which was a dark blue sherwani, only after the wedding formalities were completed and Ira announced that he would be going for his shower. The couple will not have a traditional wedding ceremony in Rajasthan and will host multiple receptions for family and industry friends.
