The surge in enthusiasm has opened doors for fraudsters promising VIP entry to the event, prompting the Indian government to employ a humorous yet impactful warning using a meme from the iconic film ‘Hera Pheri.’
In a tweet from its official Cyber Dost handle, the government shared the ‘Hera Pheri’ meme featuring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal.The post advises citizens to steer clear of suspicious links and refrain from making payments to unauthorized websites offering fake VIP passes for the ceremony.

The cautionary tweet reads, “Beware of recent online frauds: Fraudsters may convince you for Fake passes of VIP Entry regarding ‘Pran Pratishtha Event’ of Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Don’t click any suspicious link and avoid transactions in this regard with unknown numbers or websites. #Ayodhya #ShriRam #I4C.”

The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony in Ayodhya will be witnessed by many Bollywood celebrities. Some of the stars were seen catching an early flight, some were recently spotted at the airport. Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkumar Hirani, Jackie Shroff and many more will be attending the ceremony.
