Jung So Min and Jung Hae In are set to star together in a brand-new romantic comedy titled ‘Mom’s Friend’s Son.’ The story revolves around Bae Seok Ryu, a woman eager to give her troubled life a fresh start. She encounters Choi Seung Hyo, the son of her mom’s friend, who holds a dark chapter in her past. The show will be directed by Yoo Je Won and written by Shin Ha Eun, the creative minds behind the popular drama ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.’
Jung So Min takes on the role of Bae Seok Ryu, a successful and energetic woman who wins the praise of her parents as the ideal daughter.Climbing the success ladder as a project manager at a major global firm, Bae Seok Ryu unexpectedly faces a breakdown one day.
Expressing her excitement about the role, Jung So Min shared, “It’s an honor to meet a project that I relate to and makes my heart feel warm. I’m looking forward to it even more because I enjoyed watching the writer’s [other] projects. As my second project with the director based on trust, I will greet viewers with a good performance.”
Meanwhile, Jung Hae In plays the character Choi Seung Hyo, the head of an architecture atelier and a prominent young architect in the Korean industry. Known for his exceptional skills, good looks, and perfect personality, Choi Seung Hyo adds an interesting dynamic to the storyline. With the charismatic duo of Jung So Min and Jung Hae In, ‘Mom’s Friend’s Son’ promises to be a delightful addition to the world of K-dramas.
