Katrina Kaif: I am in a much calmer place now – Exclusive

Katrina Kaif is currently on the top of the world, personally and professionally. On one hand she has just delivered one of the biggest hits of her career with ‘Tiger 3’ and her personal life is also smooth sailing with husband Vicky Kaushal. Interestingly, it seems like the actress has slowed down her work; over the last few years she has only signed two films, Tiger 3 and Merry Christmas.

In an exclusive conversation with ETimes, Katrina opened up on her decision to take up fewer films and said, “I make my decisions based on what suits me at that moment.And right now, I think I’m at a place where I want to only take up what I really need to do. And that can be out of passion, or a connection with the character or with the people who are involved in the project. I’m in a slightly calmer place now. But, yes I operate with the belief system that I have to be completely obsessed with what I’m doing when it comes to my work. I can’t do things in half measures.”
While Katrina is riding high on the success of her latest blockbuster, she is also cheering for Vicky Kaushal as he plays Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in Sam Bahadur. “I’m really looking forward to Sam Bahadur , I think it is going to be really exciting . I think he is a phenomenal performer and I’m always excited to see what he does next,” concluded the actress
