Despite garnering mixed reviews, the film failed to make a significant impact at the box office on its opening day, reporting earnings of just Rs 1 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.The Ravi Jadhav directorial, which revolves around the life of the late former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, experienced an overall occupancy of 9.39 percent in the Hindi belts on January 19.The morning shows recorded an occupancy of 6.11 percent, while the evening shows saw a slight increase to 8.28 percent. Although the film had a subdued start, expectations are high for improved earnings over the weekend.
While the film centers on the life of a prominent political figure, its modest opening at the box office suggests a nuanced reception from the audience. With the weekend approaching, the film’s earnings are anticipated to witness an uptick, offering a clearer picture of its performance in the coming days.
