Prashanth Neel‘s ‘Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire’ starring Prabhas has been one of the most awaited films this year. The film hit the theatres today on December 22 and has been receiving rave reviews.
However, just hours after its release, the HD version of the movie got leaked online and became available on pirated sites for free downloading. ‘Salaar’ is not the sole victim of piracy, as several recently launched films such as ‘Dunki’, ‘Animal’, ‘Sam Bahadur,’ along with prominent South Indian releases like ‘Leo’, ‘Jailer,’ ‘Hi Nanna’, and others, have also been illicitly leaked online within a few hours of their initial screenings.

Despite mixed reception, Twitter is filled with numerous enthusiastic reviews praising Prithviraj’s portrayal of Varadharaja Mannar, a key character in the narrative. Audiences take to the platform to applaud his impactful presence and commendable acting prowess.

HONEST Public Review of Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan starrer ‘Salaar’

The film marked Rebel Star Prabhas’ comeback after the setbacks of his previous movies Saaho, Adipurush, and Radhe Shyam.
The film is scheduled for its digital debut on the OTT platform after an 8-week theatrical run. ‘Salaar’ is an intense action drama depicting the transformation of a friendship into a formidable enmity.
Prabhas, post ‘Salaar,’ is set to feature in ‘Kalki AD 2898,’ directed by Nag Ashwin, and is also lined up for ‘Spirit’ alongside Sandeep Vanga Reddy.
