Shah Rukh Khan’s starrer film ‘Pathaan‘ was released in 2023 and received a great response from the audience. At a recent event, Shah Rukh Khan revealed what was going through his head before the release of the film and said that he was scared, but once ‘Pathaan’ took over the box office, it was nothing but celebration for him, producer Aditya Chopra, and director Siddharth Anand.
Shah Rukh jokingly shared a story at News 18’s event that, while playing poker with Aditya and Siddharth, he was ready to bet Rs 5 lakh after Pathaan’s success. He immediately said that this was a joke and that he didn’t bet money while playing the game. The actor revealed that after about 2–3 days, it became just unbelievable. They were like, ‘Oh, these are the numbers; no, this can’t be’. In poker, a move of 5 lakhs. He swears they don’t play with money; this is a joke.
Shah Rukh Khan clarified that their poker games were devoid of actual monetary stakes, stating, “We don’t gamble; we just play without money.” He added a humorous touch by jokingly claiming to have “lost a lot of love in the last two years,” urging people not to troll him.
Talking about ‘Pathan’, Shah Rukh said that this is an unexpected kind of business film. Nobody had seen business like this. Even the Yash Raj Films people, who have made the biggest hits, had never seen this.
