As India faced Australia in the World Cup 2023 finals, many celebs had reached the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad to support Team India. While it was unfortunate that India lost the World Cup, Indian cricket fans have come in huge support of the team during this time. Many celebs like Shah Rukh Khan with Gauri, Aryan and Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh had come to cheer for India.
But SRK didn’t fail to work his charm even at the match. Netizens constantly kept sharing photos of him from the match and said that Team India needs a ‘Chak De’ speach. Meanwhile, here’s how he won hearts! The actor was seated next to legendary singer Asha Bhosle and when he saw that she was done with having tea, he took her cup and walked to give it to a staff member. This sort of humility and love-filled gesture out of respect towards the veteran singer, did leave everyone impressed.

That’s not all. Shah Rukh’s warm hug to Ayushmann Khurrana also was filled with love.

SRK and Deepika Padukone were also seen hugging and greeting each other before the match. Shah Rukh penned a note for Team India after the match. He wrote, “The way the Indian team has played this whole tournament is a matter of honour and they showed great spirit and tenacity. It’s a sport and there are always a bad day or two. Unfortunately it happened today….but thank u Team India for making us so proud of our sporting legacy in cricket…u bring too much cheer to the whole of India. Love and respect.
