Here’s what Kriti Sanon was complaining about Shahid Kapoor’s character in ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’

Shahid revealed the challenge of finding scripts that offer something new to the audience. Despite receiving constant suggestions to do more films, he emphasized the difficulty of discovering innovative narratives, especially in the love story genre. He expressed his excitement for ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,’ seeing it as an opportunity to present a love story that hasn’t been explored before.
While talking about ‘Kabir Singh’, Shahid shared that the character and the entire journey were novel and shocking for him. However, after that project, he didn’t come across anything that sparked excitement until he encountered the script for his current film. He felt compelled to embark on a new artistic journey, aiming to narrate a love story that breaks away from the conventional. Despite uncertainties about how audiences will receive it, he embraced the challenges and saw it as part of the creative process to present something fresh and unexplored in the realm of love stories.

Interestingly, Shahid refrained from categorizing the film as a typical romantic comedy. Instead, he sees it as a unique love story that goes beyond the usual boy-meets-girl dynamic, describing it as ‘an impossible story.’
Shahid also explained his hesitancy to embark on another love story. Having predominantly portrayed intense roles, he wanted to bring something new to the genre. The actor expressed the need for innovation, emphasizing his desire to avoid creating “just another love story.”
Directed by debutant filmmakers Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sha, ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ features a stellar cast, including Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia. The film is set to hit theaters on February 9.
