In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Shilpa unveiled her son’s immense enthusiasm for her new role. She shared, “My daughter, Samisha Shetty Kundra, is too young to watch television at just three-and-a-half years old. However, Viaan, who recently began watching movies and is an ardent fan of Rohit’s films, got genuinely thrilled about my portrayal as a cop in ‘Indian Police Force.’ I did this series for Viaan and to pay tribute to the unwavering dedication of the women in our forces, reflecting their selfless contributions.”
The road to this project wasn’t without hurdles, as Shilpa juggled commitments between the series and her concurrent shoot for ‘Sukhee.’ Recollecting the scheduling clash, she expressed, “When I was offered ‘Indian Police Force,’ my ongoing eight-day schedule in Chandigarh for ‘Sukhee’ posed a challenge.Rohit urgently needed to shoot specific scenes, causing a time crunch.”
Her commitment to the project led to a whirlwind of travel and adjustments. Shilpa narrated, “I approached Vikram Malhotra, the producer of ‘Sukhee,’ to navigate this challenge. It meant leaving Chandigarh, flying to Mumbai for ‘Indian Police Force,’ returning to Chandigarh for ‘Sukhee,’ and back to Mumbai for the show, amid my commitments to ‘India’s Got Talent.'”
