Former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik left everyone shocked as he announced marriage with actress Sana Javed. She was previously married to Umair Jaiswal. This news surfaced amidst reports that Shoaib is divorced with tennis player Sania Mirza. As Shoaib announced his wedding, Sania’s sister Anam Mirza finally broke silence and confirmed that Sania and Shoaib have been divorced for a few months now.
Now, a post from Sana Javed’s designer team member confirms that this was a very rushed wedding. Digital creator and influencer Reyna shared a photo of Shoaib and Sana on her story and wrote, “The fact that I sent her jora on an urgent basis and still didn’t know this was happening.”

Clearly, it was rushed and a hush hush wedding. Sana was seen in an ivory bridal ensemble with intricate details while Shoaib had opted for a white ethnic wear with beige gold embroidery.

Sania had married Shoaib in 2010 in a traditional muslim ceremony. They have a son named Izhaan who was born in 2018. The note written by Sania’s sister Anam read, “Sania has always kept her personal life away from the public eye. However, today the need has arisen for her to share that Shoaib and she have been divorced for a few months now. She wishes Shoaib well for his new journey ahead! At this sensitive period of her life, we would like to request all fans and well- wishers to refrain from indulging in any speculation and to respect her need for privacy.”
Shoaib has now changed his bio on Instagram from “Husband to a superwoman @mirzasaniar” to “Father to One True Blessing.”
