Actress Sushmita Sen in a heartfelt message, shared her joy about watching Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare get hitched and to witness their ‘beautiful journey’. The actress, who attended the couple’s star-studded reception in Mumbai on Saturday, shared a gorgeous photo and video of herself posing in front of a wall of photographs.
Sharing the post, Sushmita wrote, “I have witnessed their beautiful journey leading up to this Togetherness!!! Congratulations @khan.ira & @nupur_popeye.May you always celebrate life & all its blessings!!! Here’s to a new chapter & a destined bond!!! I love you soooooo much!!! Sushmita attended the event with her ex-boyfriend Rohman Shawl and her daughter Renee Sen, all dressed elegantly for the occasion.

Among the star-studded guest list were Bollywood luminaries such as Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Dharmendra, Sachin Tendulkar, and Salman Khan. Jaya Bachchan, accompanied by her daughter Shweta Bachchan, posed for pictures with actress Sonali Bendre. Veteran actors Rekha and Saira Banu also graced the celebration.

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare recently exchanged vows in a Christian ceremony in Udaipur, following a registered marriage at Taj Lands End, Bandra, Mumbai, on January 3. The couple met during the COVID-19 lockdown when Nupur was training Aamir Khan, and they celebrated their engagement in November last year.

Shifting gears, Sushmita Sen’s acclaimed web series ‘Aarya’ is set to conclude with its final chapter, titled ‘Aarya Antim Vaar,’ scheduled for release on February 9. The series, nominated for ‘Best Drama’ at the International Emmy Awards, features Sushmita in a powerful role as a woman who goes to great lengths to shield her family from the world of crime.
