According to a report in Sacnilk, ‘Tiger 3’ managed to earn Rs 4.42 crore in its latest box office figures, bringing its total domestic collection to Rs 241.67 crore.The morning shows reported an occupancy rate of 9.01 percent in the Hindi-speaking regions, but theaters in the South witnessed minimal audience turnout.

Prior to the movie’s release, film trade experts were optimistic that ‘Tiger 3’ would attain the success achieved by Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan‘ and ‘Jawan,’ both of which were massive hits. However, given the film’s slow performance, it appears challenging for it to even reach the Rs 300 crore mark in India. In contrast, both ‘Jawan‘ and ‘Pathaan’ surpassed Rs 500 crore in the domestic market alone and went on to achieve over Rs 1000 crore in global earnings.

Despite facing challenges domestically, “Tiger 3” seems to be on track to achieve the milestone of Rs 500 crore globally. The film’s worldwide collection has already surpassed the Rs 400 crore mark.
‘Tiger 3’ is the third installment in the Tiger franchise, following ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai.’ It is also a significant part of Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) spy universe, which encompasses other films like ‘War,’ ‘Pathaan,’ ‘Ek Tha Tiger,’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai.’ The franchise is set to expand with upcoming additions such as ‘War 2’ and ‘Tiger Vs Pathaan.’
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the much-awaited third instalment of the popular franchise also starred Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. The makers had also roped in Shah Rukh Khan for a special cameo. The film was released on the auspicious occasion of Diwali earlier this month.
