Global star Priyanka Chopra celebrated the occasion with her husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti. While PeeCee looked stunning in a maroon lehenga, Nick looked full desi in his floral kurta.

Priyanka was also spotted with ‘sindoor’ in her hair as she tied it up in a bun with a red rose. Other members of Nick’s family were also spotted at the do. Earlier, Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram Stories to give a sneak peek into her diwali celebrations with her husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. The actress gave her fans a glimpse of Malti’s first rangoli.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Priyanka Chopra’s mother, Madhu Chopra, was asked if she had concerns about her daughter not marrying someone from India. In response, the caring mother expressed that given Priyanka’s international education, she doesn’t perceive differences based on skin color, seeing them simply as ‘white, black, and brown.’
She further added that she noted that such things were normalized back then abroad, thus, they were normalized for them as well. Madhu Chopra shared that her primary concern about Priyanka marrying Nick Jonas was the distance it would create.

Priyanka and Nick, who tied the knot in 2018, welcomed Malti via surrogacy.
On the work front, Priyanka will next be seen in Ilya Naishuller’s film Heads Of State, co-starring John Cena and Idris Elba. Apart from this, she has Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ where she will be collaborating with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif for the first time. She also has ‘Citadel 2’ in her kitty.
