Deepika Padukone has very successfully created a niche for herself in the film industry with her sheer hard work, choices of films and performances over the years. She is one of the top actresses we have in Bollywood today.
The actress has worked with most of the top actors of B-town including Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh and others. She also shared screen space with late actor Irrfan Khan in ‘Piku‘.

A throwback video of one of Irrfan’s interview has been doing the rounds on the internet of late. In the video, a reporter is seen asking Irrfan Khan if he would like to work with the ‘Padmaavat’ actress again. Replying to the same, Irrfan said, “I would definitely want to do many more films with Deepika Padukone, including romantic films. I love her as a human being and as an actor. She is the most fascinating girl.”

The Shoojit Sircar directorial also starred Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. The film received positive reviews from the audience and the critics alike.
Irrfan passed away in April 2020 after a long battle with cancer. He was last seen in ‘Angrezi Medium’. The film also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Pankaj Tripathi and Radhika Madan in key roles.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s ‘

Fighter‘ where she will be seen sharing the screen space with Hrithik Roshan for the first time. The film also stars Anil Kapoor in the lead role. It is slated to hit the theatres in January 2024.
Apart from this, Deepika also has projects like, Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again‘ and Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ in her pipeline.
