Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan is ending 2023 on a high with an impressive business acumen.
ETimes has learned that the Megastar has leased four units of his swanky office space to Warner Music company, an exclusive deal that will see the actor earning a substantial annual rent amount of Rs 2 crore.
Situated on the 21st floor of the upscale Lotus Signature building, the office space lies adjacent to Sajid Nadiadwala‘s Oshiwara office. The prime space is poised to become a hub for the company’s activities, strategically positioned in the heart of Mumbai’s vibrant business district.
The Lotus Signature building already hosts office spaces of several notable celebrities such as Kajol, Manoj Bajpayee, Kartik Aaryan, and Sara Ali Khan. Warner Music will carry out its operations from the location for the term of the lease period of 5 years.
A stamp duty of Rs 2.88 lakh was reportedly paid for the deal. According to the documents, the commencement date of the transaction is from March 2024.
It was reported that Bachchan purchased the four commercial units measuring around 10,000 sqf in Oshiwara in August 2023. He reportedly paid an estimated Rs 7.18 crore for each unit.
Bachchan often hits the headlines for his various business deals. Over the past months, the actor made headlines for renting out one of his many luxury apartments in the city.
