Anil Kapoor reveals he has used his own vintage aviator glasses for Fighter, bought them during the press junket tour for Slumdog Millionaire | Hindi Movie News

Anil Kapoor is a stalwart of Indian Cinema , having been part of the business for more than four decades now. And even now he’s as enthusiastic about his work as he was when he was starting out. The actor was recently part of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal which has gone on to become the second biggest hit of last year and he’s now looking forward to his next release which is Siddharth Anand’s Fighter. He plays a commanding officer Rocky in the film. When his look was dropped a few weeks ago, he was seen sporting aviator glasses, it is now being reported that these were his own glasses.

In an interview with CNN, the veteran actor revealed that these glasses are actually vintage glasses that he had picked up when he was doing press tours for his Academy award winning film Slumdog Millionaire back in 2008. He also elaborated on his role in the film, he said that he plays a Commanding Officer and his team are like his kids . He’s absolutely patriotic and will do anything for his job, his nation and his fellow officers who work below or above him. He also called Fighter a roller-coaster experience for the audience.
Fighter stars Anil Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, slated to release on 25th January.
