Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated film, Dunki, which opened to a promising start at the box office, has witnessed a significant decline, recording its lowest single-day collections on its 13th day since release. The film, which generated considerable buzz and excitement during its initial days, struggled to maintain momentum, facing tough competition from Prabhas starrer Salaar.
The initial week saw Dunki drawing audiences to theaters with Shah Rukh Khan’s star power and the anticipation surrounding the film. However, as the days progressed, the box office figures began to dwindle, indicating a drop in audience interest.
According to Sacnilk, Dunki showed an overall 12 per cent occupancy in theatres. It seems like the mixed reviews and word-of-mouth feedback from viewers have led to the diminishing audience turnout. As per early estimates, the movie is set to earn Rs 3.85 crore, taking its total domestic collection to Rs 200.62 crore.
