Rajkumar Hirani‘s latest release ‘Dunki’ with Shah Rukh Khan has been creating a lot of buzz since it released. It’s the director’s first collaboration with Shah Rukh and there’s a huge section of the audience which has loved it, even though, the film has also got its fair share of criticism. As the filmmaker is doing several interviews, post the release of ‘Dunki’, in one of the interactions, he had said that he’s looking forward to collaborating with Ranbir Kapoor again, post ‘Sanju’.He had also said that he’s also having some scripts in hand for the same.
That made fans excited as speculations began that actor-director will collaborate again. However, Hirani has put an end to these speculations now. The director said during a chat with Pinkvilla that nothing is finalised at the moment. He said that he keeps discussing what he’s working on with every actor he meets. If he meets Aamir, he asks, ‘What’s happening’ and that’s what happens if he meets SRK or Ranbir. Hirani said he keeps discussing the scripts he’s working on, with every actor he meets because he’s friends with them. However, there’s nothing concrete happening at the moment, clarified Hirani.
Meanwhile, Hirani spoke about working with SRK and revealed that he’s been wanting to work with him, ever since he had seen him in his television show. At that point, Hirani was studying at the Film Institute and thought that he will graduate from there and work with Shah Rukh, since no other big star would want to work with a new director. However, Hirani said that by the time he came out of film institute, Shah Rukh was already a big star!
