Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor donned the khaki uniform and got into action mode as he stepped into the shoes of a police officer for Rohit Shetty’s new project.
The actor, who is riding high on the success of his film ‘Animal’, turned super-cop, but much to everyone’s disappointment, it was just for an ad and not a movie.
Photos of RK rocking the Khaki uniform began doing the rounds on social media and were followed up quickly with the release of the ad film. The clip sees Shetty in the director’s seat while RK goes all out with guns blazing.

Rohit Shetty, renowned for his blockbuster cop dramas like ‘Singham’, ‘Simmba’ and ‘Sooryavanshi’, is set to expand the cop universe with the inclusion of Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tiger Shroff in the upcoming ‘Singham Again’. Besides that, he is also set to take over the OTT space with the release of ‘Indian Police Force’ starring Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty in the lead.

Interestingly, the new ad has sparked a social media campaign with fans expressing their desire to see Ranbir join Shetty’s cop universe. “Imagine RK in a Rohit Shetty cop universe!!!” a fan commented.
Another said, “Ranbir as a cop WHEN?”

‘Singham Again’, the third part in the ‘Singham’ franchise will mark the return of Ajay Devgn in the lead. He will be joined by Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone in lead roles. The film is scheduled for release in 2024.
