Following their debut with Zoya Akhtar‘s ‘The Archies’, Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina have been hitting the headlines for allegedly dating each other. They are often teased for their secret love affair.
Now, in a new interview, Vedang has reacted to the rumours of them being in a relationship. While speaking to Zoom, Raina, who portrayed the character of Reggi in the film, revealed that he is currently single and expressed hope that his relationship status would change when the time is right.When questioned about the rumors surrounding his relationship with Khushi, Raina stated that they are close friends with a strong bond, having known each other for a long time and connecting on various aspects, including their taste in music.

The actor acknowledged that their friendship with Khushi is such that people will always view them from a different perspective. He added that their friendship might be perceived in certain ways, but there is nothing more to it.

In the latest promo of Koffee With Karan, Khushi had a quirky response to host Karan Johar’s question about her relationship with Vedang Raina. She humorously likened it to the scene in Om Shanti Om, where a row of people states, ‘Om and I are just good friends.’

After gaining attention for his performance in The Archies, Vedang has reportedly been inundated with film offers. He is rumored to be a part of Alia Bhatt’s production, Jigra, but the actor refrains from commenting on it.

Meanwhile, ‘The Archies’ marked the debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor. The film received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics alike.
