Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter has taken off to a steady start at the box office. Though the Siddharth Anand directorial received mixed reviews from the critics and audience alike, the film is expected to perform well owing to the positive word of mouth.

Meanwhile, Fighter is set to earn Rs 22 crore net in India on its first day across all languages. The movie is expected to witness a boost in collections on Republic Day and surpass Rs 35 crore mark on day 2.
Fighter is a high-octane action thriller inspired by the Indian Air Force’s Balakote strikes following the Pulwama massacre. It also stars Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi among others.
