Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Fighter‘ is set to release on January 25, 2024. It’s the first big release of the year and fans are looking forward to it ever since it was announced. This is the first time that Hrithik and DP are pairing up together and fans cannot stop gushing over their intense chemistry evident in the ‘Ishq Jaisa Kuch’ song which has been unveiled.
There were several reports which came out today which suggested that the run time of ‘Fighter’ is 3 hours 10 minutes. These reports came out as the film’s promotions and distribution has already begun overseas. So, Qatar, UAE and GCC are among the first to receive the synopsis of the movie. The official synopsis read, “Going by the official description, Fighter will narrate the story of an aspirational young man named Shamsher Pathania, who must overcome his obstacles after enlisting in the Indian Air Force in order to become a hero of the Indian Armed Forces.”
The runtime of the film has been mentioned as 3 hours and 10 minutes. However, director Siddharth Anand has clarified these reports. The director took to social media and wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “#Fighter run time rumours. Real run time is under 2 hours 40 minutes.”
Fans reacted to this tweet. A fan said, “If it is a treat in every frame & over all, duration doesn’t matter.” Many users felt this duraction is apt and asked Sidharth when the film’s trailer will be released.
‘Fighter’ also stars Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi and Karan Singh Grover, alongside Hrithik and Deepika.
