Katrina Kaif is currently busy promoting her upcoming thriller film ‘Merry Christmas‘. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film also stars South Korean superstar Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role.
Today, during a press conference, Vijay Sethupathi replied funnily when a reporter asked him about constantly playing villains in the last few films. The actor smiled and said, “I enjoy doing villain roles because I can’t torture or kill anybody in real life.In the films, I get a chance to express those (angry) feelings. Even after having anger or an ego, you have to be humble in real life. But, on screens, you can laugh; you can play with the emotions. It’s fun.”
The makers of ‘Merry Christmas’ recently revealed the official trailer for the film, which received good responses from the fans. It has been shot in two languages, with different supporting actors. The Hindi version also features Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand. On the other hand, the Tamil version stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams in the same roles.
‘Merry Christmas’ is all set to hit the big screen on January 12, 2024. It was supposed to be released in December but was postponed given that ‘Salaar’ and ‘Dunki’ were set to release. The trailer revealed that it revolves around two strangers who meet on Christmas Eve and get instantly attracted. However, a nightmare unfolds as an unexpected tragedy occurs.
